Long time, no see…..

It has been way too long! I know!!! I have missed it too!! But somehow it is hard to get into the habit of blogging again, once that habit is broken… But, here, now, I am giving it a new try!

Sea of Galilee

Because I am so for all of what it entails: – writing, positive thought processes, taking photographs (really, I am so much more motivated to take pictures when I am thinking of the fact that they may be needed for a blogpost!), being more conscious of the little moments of every day, – really, – blogging is such a good thing. And, the truth is, it does not take me all that long to produce a blog post.

So, there. All I have to do is remind myself of this little bit of inspiration, give myself a half hour, and go for it!

Now, where do I begin? Our super long summer vacation felt like it just kept going because we have had family and friends visiting all fall long, – some are still here, and some are still to come. We are having such a good time with them! We are so blessed!

And, at the same time, – life keeps going. The children are in school, homework and afternoon activities need to fit in as well. And I have almost lost count of how many little jobs I do these days. Thankful for the fact that I have a home office, so I don’t waste any time commuting at least!!! 🙂

One new thing in my life is that I tried out guiding last week. I took a small group of Norwegians around Israel, – and I really, really enjoyed it! Now, those were some VERY NICE people to take around, which of course influenced on the whole experience.

But somehow, I just loved every aspect of it! Traveling around the Land I love and so believe in. Teaching people about Israel, what has happened here and what is going on here today. It felt so meaningful!! And, I enjoyed just meeting different kinds of Israelis at the various places we went to. (Somehow, when the group I took around were such strangers to the other locals, us locals felt like family, even though we had never met before!) Plenty of time outdoors too!

So, at the end of the day, – I am seriously considering taking the tour guide course!! Since I don’t have enough to fill my days with, kind of… eh… No, it is true, I have plenty to do already, but I believe, if you really want to do something, you might as well just get at it. The perfect time will never come. So, I am testing this out to see if the doors will open, and I may start real soon.

OK, I better get back to real life here. But just wanted to say hello! Hope to be back soon! 🙂

PS. The photos in this post are all from traveling around Israel last week. Such good times!
